San Francisco Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The Infiniti was taken from the area of Ellis Street and Jones Street.

The San Francisco PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti Q50.

A short time later, officers from the San Francisco PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) which are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Infiniti to the area of the 400 block of Leavenworth Street, where they located the vehicle parked at the curb, occupied by a female. The female suspect was taken into custody without incident.

The Infiniti was recovered and released to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti Q50 in April 2017 at Niello Infiniti of Concord in California.
