The owners of a 2013 Honda Accord contacted the Atlanta Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in downtown Atlanta while they were at a ball game.

The Atlanta PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later troopers from the Georgia State Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the troopers tracked the Honda to the south side of town where it was spotted with two people inside. After a small chase the suspects were arrested and transported to the city jail on the theft of the Honda.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in July 2013 at Honda Mall of Georgia in Duluth.
